Metal Door Skin
Product Overview
A metal door skin is a pressed steel panel that forms the outer surface of a steel door, providing structural support, aesthetic appeal, and long-lasting protection. Applied to both sides of a door core, metal door skins serve as the foundation for residential entry doors, commercial building entrances, industrial security doors, and fire-rated assemblies.
Manufactured from high-quality galvanized steel, cold-rolled steel, or stainless steel, our metal door skins combine precision engineering with robust materials to deliver unmatched durability, visual versatility, and cost-effectiveness. Whether you are a door manufacturer, contractor, or property developer, our metal door skins offer the ideal solution for projects demanding strength, security, and style.

Applications
Residential Doors
Main entrance doors for homes and apartments, interior steel doors with decorative finishes. Metal door skins provide homeowners with security, energy efficiency, and curb appeal at an affordable price point.
Commercial & Institutional Buildings
Schools, offices, hospitals, hotels, and apartment complexes. High-traffic environments benefit from the durability and low maintenance of metal door skins.
Industrial & Security Doors
Fire-rated steel doors, emergency exit doors, heavy-duty warehouse and factory entries. Thicker gauges and galvanized construction ensure reliable performance in demanding conditions.
Government & Public Infrastructure
Police stations, airports, and public service buildings. Metal door skins meet rigorous safety and durability standards for public facilities.
Installation & Construction
Metal door skins are attached to the door’s internal core—typically foam, honeycomb, or rigid insulating material—using adhesives or mechanical fasteners. The edges of the door skin are folded or crimped around the door’s perimeter to create a seamless appearance and improve structural integrity. Two-component epoxy adhesives provide excellent bonding for steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and other substrates.
For door manufacturers, metal door skins can be supplied with pre-punched holes for locks, hinges, and accessories, as well as batch coding and branding options. Custom dimensions, thicknesses, and designs are available to meet specific project requirements
